“After months of telling myself that I needed to "get in shape" and "do something about my weight" I finally called Healthy Inspirations in April of this year and made an appointment to meet with owner, Linda Lex. I had listened to the radio ads and visited the website many times and knew that I had to stop saying I will do it tomorrow...
It didn't take long into our first meeting to know that I had made the right decision and I couldn't wait to get started. The wonderful thing is that you don't have to buy anything special! Eat healthier, keep track of what you eat and exercise. Sounds very easy, but not something I could do on my own. I started out going in and meeting with Linda to weigh in and exercise three days a week. I realized getting up earlier in the morning and going before work made me feel great and energized the whole day so I started going in five days a week. Sitting down and talking with Linda 5-10 minutes, 3 days a week is very fulfilling. We talk about the day or weekend ahead and she is always ready with advice, kind words and inspiration to help with the journey.
It's taken approximately 3 1/2 months to meet my goal and I feel great! The two questions I get asked most often are, "How did you do it" and "do you get to eat real food"? I always proudly tell people that I joined Healthy Inspirations and of course it's real food! I still have a weakness for peanut butter, but I've learned it's okay in moderation!
